Get started
with RelayRTC
Add audio, video, screen sharing and messaging to your application.
import { RelayProvider, RelayRoom } from '@relayrtc/react'
export function Call({ token, signalingUrl, children }) {
return (
<RelayProvider signalingUrl={signalingUrl}>
<RelayRoom token={token}>
{children}
</RelayRoom>
</RelayProvider>
)
}Choose your starting point
Your first room
Your server creates a room and issues a participant token. The browser uses that token to connect, publish media and receive other participants.
- Create a secret API key in your project environment.
- Create a room with the REST API or Node SDK.
- Issue a token for each participant.
- Join from React and enable camera or microphone access.
Start with the quickstart. It connects the server and browser in one flow.
Find what you need
- Camera and microphone: capture, mute and switch devices.
- Screen sharing: publish a display and optional screen audio.
- Messages and raised hands: send chat and update participant state.
- Webhooks: receive signed events on your server.
- Connection recovery: handle reconnects and expired credentials.
- Usage: read participant minutes and media traffic.
