# Usage response Understand metrics, buckets and data-quality fields. ## Top-level fields | Field | Meaning | | --- | --- | | scope | organizationId, projectId and environmentId. | | category | all, rooms, participants, sfu, turn, signaling or screen-share. | | window | range, startedAt, endedAt, timezone: UTC and endExclusive: true. | | bucketDefinition | granularity, alignment, partialEdges, durations and events definitions. | | metricDefinitions | Definition per returned metric: unit, aggregation, integer, definition and source. | | summary | Metric values for the complete requested window. | | buckets | Each bucket contains startedAt, endedAt and metrics. | | dataQuality | History completeness and TURN attribution quality. | ## Metric names | Category | Fields | Units | | --- | --- | --- | | rooms | roomsCreated, roomsStarted, roomSeconds, peakConcurrentRooms | Counts and seconds. | | participants | participantSeconds, participantMinutesDerived, audioParticipantSeconds, videoParticipantSeconds, peakConcurrentParticipants, averageConcurrentParticipants | Seconds, derived minutes and participant counts. | | sfu | sfuIngressBytes, sfuEgressBytes | Bytes. | | turn | turnIngressBytes, turnEgressBytes, turnRelaySeconds, turnSessions | Bytes, seconds and count. | | signaling | signalingConnections, signalingConnectionSeconds, signalingMessagesIn, signalingMessagesOut | Counts and seconds. | | screen-share | screenShareSeconds, screenShareIngressBytes, screenShareEgressBytes | Seconds and bytes. | ## Data quality | Field | Values | | --- | --- | | `sessionHistory` | complete or partial. | | `messageHistory` | complete or partial. | | `turnTraffic` | unavailable, partial or authoritative. | | `mediaDurations` | observation_time. | Do not treat partial or unavailable traffic as a guarantee of no usage. ## Time rules The window uses UTC and an exclusive end. Buckets align to UTC calendar boundaries and are clipped to the requested window. Durations are clipped to each bucket; events are attributed to occurrence time. `participantMinutesDerived` is decimal minutes, computed as participantSeconds / 60.
