# Runtime operation

Fields returned by the REST API for runtime operation.

## Fields

| `kind` | string | Operation kind. |
| `status` | string | Lifecycle or delivery state. |
| `attempts` | number | Cleanup attempt count. |
| `lastError` | string or null | Latest error, or null. |
| `completedAt` | string or null | Completion timestamp, or null. |

## Status

Status is pending, running, failed or completed. The operation can include additional target and lease metadata. Treat completion as `status === 'completed'`, not merely receipt of HTTP 202.
